Kelley LaRue BioRaised and educated in New England, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architectural Design from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston.  Inspired by a mother who is an artist/jeweler and father who is in construction management, I developed an interest in both.  I was drawn to architecture at a very young age because of their influence; it felt like the perfect marriage of the creative and the practical.  After finishing college, I worked for few years doing various design and architectural modeling work.  When our first son was born I began working for my self as a design consultant on various residential and light commercial projects.  Now with over 8 years of experience I have developed a style that incorporates simplicity, proportion and function to create places that work well and make us feel good.

When I am not at work, I am usually off with my husband and two boys on some kind of adventure.  Our most recent family adventures include weekly trips to the mountains where the boys are learning to ski, Maine motocross series and wake boarding excursions on our (halfway) refurbished 1985 Ski Nautique.  When I get a little time to myself I like to create things with my hands whether to use, admire, wear or eat.
